Wirral Ark has relied on volunteers to deliver our mission ever since we were founded in 1991 as a completely volunteer-run organisation. These days we are far larger than we ever were and employ about 30 staff, but volunteers remain a crucial part of our work. There are volunteer roles suitable for every type of person, every interest and every skill.
We’ve put together a list of some of the key roles that we feel we could benefit from support from volunteers below. Under each role you’ll find a downloadable document which explains a little more about what the role involves.
If you are interested in applying for a role, please download and complete the following form and send it back to us

Outdoor Events Volunteer
Throughout the year, we have a rolling calendar of events including Kip on the Kop, Pizza Run and Strictly Come Dancing. For these we need people to register participants, staff help desk, marshal and signpost, sell raffle tickets and much, much more. It all depends on the event as to what is needed. Prior to an event, we also need support in promoting events, getting leaflets and posters out to public places, so if you are mobile and fancy getting out and about for us to spread the word, then do please get in touch.
