If you are homeless you will need to have an assessment in order to be matched to the most suitable and available accommodation.
Wirral Ark is a Mainstay provider and offers assessments between 8am and 10pm daily, from Mary Cole House, 6 Sandford Street, Birkenhead, Wirral, CH41 1BN. There are several assessment points across the Merseyside area to choose from, the details of which can be found here.
Once you have been assessed, the system will match you to the most appropriate and suitable accommodation based upon individual needs.
Report a Rough Sleeper
In the event you wish to report someone that is sleeping rough on the streets, you can do so via the StreetLink service.
To tackle homelessness, the city of Liverpool developed a revolutionary project called MainStay with the aim of providing improved access to short-term housing through housing support providers working together to share information on available accommodation so those with the greatest need receive shelter quickly.
The service is offered across Merseyside to ensure that people are homeless receive a fast, responsive and thorough assessment and are placed in the right service at the right time.
